Chef Carlos still manages to surprise and please with new seasonal specials as well as old favorites like Carlos Country Style Chicken, made with chicken on the bone, homemade sausage, mushrooms, peppers and potatoes, or Veal Saltimbocca, Shrimp Magnolia (Shrimp sautéed in olive oil with a Dijon sauce made of pureed red and yellow peppers, basil and homemade sweet potato fries)Venetian style Calves Liver with bacon and onions or Pork Chops with Vinegar Peppers, and even summer Fried Green Tomatoes.

You will often find Charlotte in the kitchen preparing comfort foods such as Roast Pork with Champagne sauerkraut and homemade applesauce, Sauerbraten or Stuffed Roast Turkey with all the trimmings.

Lunch is served Tuesday - Friday and features many traditional Italian meals but also consists of eclectic and traditional sandwiches like juicy,freshly ground beef burgers, cooked-on-the premises corned beef and a Seattle Chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll with avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato and a basil mayo olive tapenade. Also available are fresh fish sandwiches, turkey clubs, Charlotte’s southern style BBQ Beef sandwich, and many more!

The salads on the lunch menu are anything but your usual lunch fare. Examples include the Lemon Chicken Salad with chicken breast, hearts of palm, beets, olives, tomatoes, onions and egg in a special lemon dressing or the Chicken, Fruit, Cheese and Nut Salad on a bed of mescaline greens with apples, dried cranberries, walnuts, chicken and goat cheese in raspberry dijon dressing or Blackened Chicken salad with a balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil dressing.
