We are a boutique store focused on providing small town customer service and specialty wines and spirits to the local community and beyond. Owner and founder, Andrea Maranca, opened the store in November 2005 following her passion for wine. She always wished her own community of Oldwick in Hunterdon County had a fine wine shop and seized the opportunity to turn the wish into her dream. Wanting to share her passion with others beyond Hunterdon County, she turned to the internet to offer these prized wines to others. The goal of Grape Distinctions is to have you experience the subtle nuances that make one wine different from the next. Each month we will present two to three wines that highlight these subtle distinctions for you to appreciate. One month it may be wines from the same producer and how they differ; another month may be wines made from the same grape but from different regions.
